Our Story

Raising the standard of pickleball coaching worldwide

Close-up of pickleball paddles being held court-side

Founded by Ben Hocking and Mathew Monty, two of Australia's most experienced pickleball coaches, United Pickleball Coaching and Certification was built to set a genuine standard for how the game is taught. Every program we deliver is practical, evidence-based, and built by people who have done the work.

Level up your coaching game

UPCC was built by coaches who know what good looks like. Our certification framework gives you the structure, confidence, and credibility to develop players who keep coming back.

What our coaches say

  • I finally had a system I could trust. My sessions became sharper, my players improved faster, and I started getting referrals within weeks.

    Jordan Matthews

    Level 2 Certified Coach—Melbourne, Australia

  • The UPCC framework gave me the structure I was missing. I went from coaching as a hobby to running full programs at my local club within months.

    Priya Sharma

    Level 1 Certified Coach—Sydney, Australia

  • Hands-on training with experienced coaches made the difference. The on-court drills translated directly into how I run my own sessions now.

    Marco Rinaldi

    Level 2 Certified Coach—Brisbane, Australia

  • Being able to point clients to a recognised certification has opened doors I didn't even know existed. The UPCC name carries weight.

    Hannah Wilson

    Level 1 Certified Coach—Perth, Australia

  • Solid content and good community. Would love to see more advanced material added for higher-level players — but a strong foundation for new coaches.

    Daniel Park

    Level 2 Certified Coach—Adelaide, Australia
